Module 2: Neurosocial Development and the Disorganised infant

During this talk, the presenters take the delegates through the fundamentals of neurosocial development in order to better understand preterm infant behaviour. The delegates will be able to apply recognise and apply management on assisting an infant to obtain neuro organisation in the NICU. The second part of this module aims to teach delegates about the communication cues of the infant, and especially identifying the disorganised infant.

This recording has been accredited for 2 clinical HPCSA CPD points through SASLHA, applicable to all HPCSA members. CPD points are awarded after successful completion (70% pass rate) of a multiple choice questionnaire (MCQ) that is based on the content of the recording
