Module 4 – Sensory management and pain

During this talk, the presenters will discuss the impact of a harming sensory environment for the preterm infant. Delegates will be guided through adapting the environment the infant is cared for the to ensure the infant is obtained the opportunity for optimal neurological development. Non pharmacological pain management through the application of developmental supportive care principles are discussed during the second part of the session.
